Installation notes#
The release provides 4 files: a Mac DMG, Windows installer, Linux AppImage and Debian package. Choose the one that matches your machine.
| Operating system | Package | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| macOS | DMG | One package for Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. Signed and notarized. |
| Windows | Installer | For 64-bit Windows. Unsigned; Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning. |
| Linux | AppImage or .deb | For 64-bit Linux. The .deb package is for Debian and Ubuntu. |
For an AppImage, mark the downloaded file executable and open it. If your system cannot run AppImages through FUSE, use the AppImage's extract-and-run option or install the Debian package where supported. The application uses your system's webview and needs an internet connection for the hosted review experience.
Work through a review#
Start with the request's description and discussion to understand what changed. Open the diff to read the affected files and inspect the changes in context. Use the review conversation to ask questions about the selected pull request, then check the changes before sending your review.
Keep the review tied to the request you are looking at: move between files, read existing comments and add feedback where it helps the author act on it.
Need help?#
If sign-in finishes in the browser but the application is still waiting, return to Mesmer Agent and try signing in again. If you cannot see the organization or repository you expect, check that you used the right account and that your organization has access.
